The AVPCA is an Association of valet parking contractors that have come together to protect their industry from the increasing number of rogue operators and bad practices.
In particular, the Association has been formed as a result of the increase in professional looking web sites, offering discounted services but regretfully lacking in solid investment into premises, insurance, staff training or have little call for Customer Relations.
MEMBERS;
- Have planning permission to operate a meet and greet parking company
- Are VAT registered

- Conduct CRB checks on their staff and drivers
- Hold full liability insurance, which must be proved
- Have a minimum five-year trading history

- Fit and proper ownership of parking suppliers
- Liaison with Gatwick Airport
- Working towards accreditation by Gatwick Airport
- Bringing regulation to valet parking
- Fit and proper staff with CRB checks
- Liaison with local Police
- Consultation with local Council bodies
